Privacy:The communication to the outside is fairly restricted, to protect your privacy:
- Pochette downloads the dancedata DB once during first start and whenever you request a refresh on the maintenance page.
- Pochette contacts the dancedata website for updates and downloading of diagrams.
- All other data stays on your device.
- To delete you app data please deinstall the app.
Pouchette downloads the dancedata database through any network. The diagrams are only retrieved through wifi, to protect your bandwidth.
Logfiles are stored in the document folder on your device. Pochette deletes log files older than a week, to avoid cluttering your device. In case of problems the log files might be helpful for you and for me.
Security
Pochette asks you for permission to read your media files. If you do not grant that permission, pochette cannot pair up the dances with your music. So you have dance data on the go.
There is no warranty whatsoever; you use the app completely at your own risk. You use this software for free. There is no advertisements or any such thing. This project is not endorsed by any institution or organisation. The copyright to any data stays with the source of the data.
